Pleasing Allah – Recite Qur’an
Connection with the Quran
“The author of a book would be pleased to see you reading it and would pay attention to you. The Glorious Qur’an is the book of Allah سُبْحَٰنَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ, He turns towards the one who recites it and becomes pleased with him.”

Why is reading the Quran important in Islam?
The Prophet (Allah bless him & give him peace) said,
“The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.”
[Bukhari and others]
He also said (Allah bless him & give him peace),
“The people of the Qur’an are the people of Allah and His chosen ones.”
[Ahmad, Nasa’i, and Ibn Maja from Anas (Allah be pleased with him)]
Sayyiduna Umar (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said,
“Verily, Allah raises some people in rank with this Book, and puts down others.” [Muslim]
